Every Muslim is obligated to seek knowledge regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, social status, and more. We all have the right to fair education, and seeking knowledge helps us grow and become empowered individuals in the Ummah.
Studying Islam and all its teachings is a crucial practice for all Muslims because, without that knowledge, we cannot live our lives in a way that aligns with what Allah created us for – His worship.
Additionally, we will not know what to teach our children, who are the future generations of the Muslim nation.
We must also endeavor to achieve high levels of education in worldly subjects, which ensures that our families, society, and particularly the Muslim youth are inspired by witnessing successful Muslim role models who effectively balance their spiritual and worldly aspects of life.. Allah Says:
(interpretation of the meaning) “None will comprehend them except those who know.”
[Quran; 29:43]

Giving Sadaqah (Charity) to the Seeker of Knowledge:
Knowledge forms the bedrock of the entire religion, for there is no faith without knowledge. Allah bestowed the Book to enable humanity to uphold justice and gain an understanding of the principles, teachings, and actions prescribed in their religion.
Dar Al-Iftaa has mentioned the excellent reward for the one who guides to good things, as Anas Bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him, said which means: “Whoever guides to good, then for him is the same reward as the one who does it.”
If that was a reward for anyone who leads to good things like learning, what about guiding others and paying their expenses – if they can’t afford it – to facilitate their way of seeking knowledge?
We need to acknowledge that we all are one nation and one family. That’s why we have to take care of each other and help each other in whatever good means Allah has given us.

So, It is permissible to give sadaqah (charity) to a seeker of knowledge who does not have enough to support him if the knowledge that he is studying is permissible and is needed so that he will be able to work and find a job because getting these certificates has become an absolute necessity without which one cannot usually find employment.
